Role Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Account Manager to oversee the delivery of cleaning and associated services at a site in South London. This is a fully site-based role with responsibility for maintaining high service standards, leading and developing the operational team, and ensuring compliance across the contract.


The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership to cleaning and support colleagues, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently and consistently. Working closely with key stakeholders and wider facilities teams, you will help maintain a professional, well-managed environment while supporting the continued development of the operation.


Our client is seeking someone with a strong operational background in commercial cleaning, soft facilities management or a similar service-led environment, with the ability to lead teams, manage service delivery and build effective working relationships.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of cleaning and associated services
  • Lead, support and develop a site-based operational team
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service delivery
  • Plan and coordinate routine and periodic cleaning activities
  • Carry out regular quality and compliance audits
  • Monitor performance against agreed service standards and address any areas of concern
  • Manage staffing requirements, rotas, absence and payroll processes
  • Support recruitment, induction, training and ongoing development
  • Oversee relevant contractors and specialist service providers
  • Manage stock, equipment and operational resources
  • Maintain appropriate Health & Safety and compliance standards
  • Produce reports and attend operational and client meetings as required
  • Manage service-related feedback and ensure issues are resolved effectively
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and more effective ways of working
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to support the wider operation.
