Class 1 Driver - Pinchbeck

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an Class 1 Driver driver to work with Gist UK in Pinchbeck. We are looking for a reliable professional to join our team, responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations. You will be expected to maintain high vehicle standards and ensure timely deliveries.

Shift patterns:
* Operating 7 days a week, with flexible start times across days, afternoons, and nights.

Pay rates:

* 15.30 - £20.39 GBP hourly
* 9.5 Hours Guaranteed!

Essential requirements for Class 1 Driver:

* Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
* Digital Tachograph Card + CPC (Driver Qualification)
* 12+ Months Minimum Class 1 Driving Experience
* No More than 6 points on Licence (Including DR, DD, IN, TT)

Desirable requirements for Class 1 Driver:
* Previous Class 1 driving experience (6+ months preferred)
* Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
* Familiarity with curtainsiders, refrigerated units, and box trailers
* Good knowledge of the UK road network and major distribution centres
* Experience completing delivery paperwork and using handheld scanners
* Strong focus on road safety and vehicle checks
* Reliability and punctuality
* Professional attitude
* Good problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail
* Team player
* Customer-focused approach

Role for Class 1 Driver:
