Mid-Weight Interior Designer — Workplace

London | Full-Time, Permanent | £50,000 - £60,000 DOE


My client, a market leading Design & Build studio in London, is looking for a Mid-Weight Interior Designer to join their growing team.


This role comes with real scope for progression. It's a great fit for an experienced designer who's ready to take ownership of projects from concept through to on-site completion, and who wants to design workplaces that are functional, inspiring and thoughtfully considered.


Responsibilities

  • Develop creative design concepts, mood boards and space plans that respond to client briefs and support successful pitches
  • Produce detailed technical drawing packages, including floor plans, elevations, joinery details and specifications
  • Present design schemes directly to clients and guide them confidently through material selections and design revisions
  • Work closely with project managers and contracts managers on site to resolve technical queries and protect design integrity


Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience working on UK commercial office fit-out projects, ideally within a Design & Build or consultancy environment
  • Strong workplace fit-out experience is essential. Applications without relevant commercial office experience can't be considered
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
