Shift patterns:

• Gist Chesterfield operates 7 days per week on a 24-hour basis, offering flexible shift patterns and start times. Pay rates:
• £17.33 to £23.38 GBP hourly Essential requirements for Class 1 Driver:
• Full UK Driving Licence (C+E)
• Digital Tachograph Card + CPC (Driver Qualification)
• 12+ Months Minimum Class 1 Driver Driving

Experience

• No More than 6 points on Licence (Including DR, DD, IN, TT) Desirable requirements for Class 1 Driver:
• Previous Class 1 Driver driving experience (6+ months preferred)
• Experience with RDC, trunking, and store deliveries
• Familiarity with curtainsiders, refrigerated units, and box trailers
• Good knowledge of UK road network and major distribution centres
• Experience completing PODs, delivery paperwork, or handheld scanners
• Strong customer service skills and experience with manual handling
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Team player with a customer-focused approach Role for Class 1 Driver:

• Perform regular vehicle checks and maintain vehicle standards
• Complete delivery paperwork, PODs, and use handheld scanners
• Manage manual loading and unloading tasks
