People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our well-established client based in Garretts Green, Birmingham .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering regular, ongoing work with fixed start times and a choice of day or night shifts.
This role would sit applicants who have worked as a Class 1 LGV Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver
Rates of Pay:
Days: £16.25 per hour
Nights: £17.25 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Day shifts starting at 6:00am
Night shifts starting at 6:00pm
Fixed start times
Flexible working week

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver are:
General haulage deliveries
Loading and securing loads safely
Strapping down loads correctly
Completing vehicle checks
Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Class 1 HGV Driver , you will need:
At least 1 year's experience driving Class 1 HGV vehicles
Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
Good knowledge of UK roads
Confident in securing and strapping loads
Reliable with a professional approach
Training:
Site paid induction provided
