Job description
LINQ Education are supporting a SEN School in Wolverhampton who are looking for a SENCO to join their team on a contract basis. The school supports up to 40 children with Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the provision for children with special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement effective strategies.
- Monitor and assess the progress of children with SEN.
- Engage with parents and external agencies to support children's needs.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) qualification.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in a SEN school.
- Knowledge of Autism and Speech, Language, and Communication Needs.
