Roles & Responsibilities


  • Manage projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, specification and company standards.
  • Develop and monitor project programmes, identifying critical paths, risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
  • Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, testing and handover activities.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance requirements, reporting processes and close-out records.
  • Lead mobilisation, subcontractor engagement, snagging, handover and lessons learned activities.
  • Resolve technical, operational and commercial issues to maintain project performance.
  • Drive timely resolution of technical, operational and commercial issues to maintain programme and project performance.


Skills & Qualifications


Essential:


  • HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets and financial reporting.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness.
  • Full valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Project Management Software.


Desirable:


  • PRINCE2 or APM Project Management Qualification.
  • SMSTS.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH.
  • CSCS Manager Card.
  • Experience within water, utilities or industrial engineering sectors.
  • Knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience delivering engineering or infrastructure projects.
