Whether you are an experienced GP or newly qualified, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a forward-thinking, teaching practice with a strong focus on teamwork, learning and high-quality patient care.

The role

You will provide comprehensive, patient-centred general medical services, including:

  • Management of acute, chronic, complex and undifferentiated presentations
  • Safe prescribing and effective care planning
  • Supporting QOF, clinical governance and quality improvement
  • Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Opportunities to contribute to teaching, service development and continuous learning

About the practice

This is a large rural practice serving a diverse local community across multiple sites. You will join an experienced clinical team alongside Advanced Nurse Practitioners, First Contact Physiotherapists, Social Prescribers, Mental Health and Proactive Care colleagues, as well as a dedicated administrative and patient services team.

The practice is a Teaching Practice and prides itself on being supportive, inclusive and team-focused, with approachable clinical leadership, strong peer support and a commitment to professional development.

What they offer

  • Competitive salaried package of up to £12500 per session
  • Flexible working to support work-life balance
  • Support with appraisal, revalidation and CPD
  • Dedicated administrative support
  • Opportunities for teaching, quality improvement and service development
  • A welcoming and respectful working environment
  • Strong multidisciplinary and peer support

About you

You will be a fully qualified GP with GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS Medical Performers List, or a GPST3 approaching completion of training.

We are looking for someone with excellent clinical judgement, communication and organisational skills who is committed to patient-centred care, prevention, health improvement and reducing health inequalities.

HYMS/GP Trainer status and SystmOne experience are desirable but not essential. British trained IMGs and Newly qualified GPs are also welcome to apply.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel between practice sites as required.

If you are looking for a supportive, collaborative practice where you can develop your career and make a real difference to patients, we would love to hear from you.
