Job Description
Chief Information Officer - Asset Management responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring they meet the company's needs.
- Develop and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Define and execute the firm's technology strategy, aligning it with our investment and operational objectives.
- Lead the modernisation of core systems
- Drive the design and implementation of a secure, scalable data architecture to support advanced analytics and regulatory compliance.
- Partner with investments, investor relations, and finance teams to identify opportunities for automation, workflow optimisation, and digital client engagement.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate technology contracts to ensure value and performance.
- Build and mentor a high-calibre technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and disaster recovery plans are in place to protect sensitive financial and client data.
- Oversee the management and development of our facilities and service support functions to deliver a continually high-quality of service to the firm
The Successful Applicant
A successful Chief Information Officer - Asset Management should have:
- Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within asset management, private equity, or a related financial services environment.
- Strong track record of delivering enterprise technology transformations, ideally in data-driven and regulated environments.
- Deep understanding of investment management systems, data platforms, and integration architectures.
- Experience with cloud technologies (Azure) and modern data tools (Snowflake, Fabric).
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Board and Executive level.
- A strategic mindset combined with the ability to execute and deliver measurable results.
