Salaried GP - Chingford, North East London

Pay: £11,500 per session (overall pay to be discussed).
Sessions: 4 to 5 sessions per week (share the week with another salaried).
Clinical System: SystemOne.

Additional: Your role would include duty doctor on your working days (all post/hosp correspondence/other letters and any urgent tasks on the day). We are a small practice so home visits are rare and duty doctor is very manageable. No total triage, we book via reception. As a family-orientated, teaching practice of over 50 years, we aim to provide a supportive and learning-orientated environment. All our clinicians are able to knock on each other's doors and ask for any advice.

Main duties of the job

• Responsible for managing a caseload and addressing a wide range of healthcare needs within a primary care setting.
• Work collaboratively with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care for all registered patients.
• To actively contribute to practice planning and decision-making processes. This role therefore encompasses both clinical and organisational responsibilities.
• Screens patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness.
• Be available for 'on-call' duties to answer patients' telephone queries or carry out emergency home visits, or surgery consultations as appropriate. This also includes reading and actioning the hospital and other correspondence that comes in on the day.
• Carry out procedures in a safe manner by following best practice and infection control policies.
• Work effectively with individuals in other agencies to meet patients' needs.

About Us

We are a well-established, friendly teaching practice, and our dedicated team includes our senior GP partner, 1 practice nurse, 1 HCA and admin/support staff. We have been providing a full range of GP services for over 30 years and have a patient list size of 4,500 patients.

As a teaching practice, we have a GP registrar with us.

We are situated in a purpose-built health centre close to local amenities.
