Are you a Class 1 Shunter Driver looking for either a day or night role with the security of guaranteed full-time hours ?
Here at GXO, we are looking for a Class 1 Shunters to join our team in Northfleet supporting our customer, Arbex . This is apermanent role, and you will be working42 hoursper week on a 4on,4off shift pattern .
Shifts available 06:00-18:00 and 18:00-06:00

You will receive a salary of £35,583.38 (additional £3,231.84 Shift premium and for nights additional £7,033.44 per annum)

What youll do on a typical day:
To ensure the TUG unit is safe to operate and monitor H&S of the transport area, report any non-conformancesincluding VOR trailers
Effectively manage trailers on and off the bays, both at the RDC and over the mill in line with operational requirements.
Support all external hauliers for collections / deliveries and any internal movements between site locations.
Complete all transport area checks in an accurate and timely manner utilising systems and methods as supplied.
Monitor the usage and allocation of stand trailers.
Prepare trailers for loading including laying out of straps and pulling curtains.
Carry out any other duties as requiredin line with the role. Xohmjla
What you need to succeed:
You must hold a valid Class 1 licence with a minimum of 3 years experience
Have a valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
Less than 6 penalty points on licence (No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
Shunter Experience preferred
Must be able to complete manual handling tasks
Good communication skills
