Job description

  • Lead the monthly Group consolidation process in Oracle FCCS
  • Prepare supporting schedules and gather balance sheet analytical commentary on working capital movements
  • Line manage, coach, and mentor Group Financial Accountants based in Manchester
  • Account for complex acquisitions, disposals, and one-off corporate transactions
  • Assist with delivering the Group’s Annual Report accurately and on time across Year End and Half Year reporting periods
  • Manage relationships with ITV subsidiaries globally and guide international teams on group reporting requirements
  • Manage and deliver FCCS consolidation-system training for new finance team members
  • Prepare timely forecasts, budgets, and 5-year plans for relevant Group reporting areas
  • Maintain relationships with Group Tax, Group Treasury, and Group FP&A
  • Drive process and system improvements across the consolidation and reporting framework
  • Provide temporary cover for BAU activities during a period of strategic change following the announced separation of the M&E division

Requirements

  • Must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with extensive Post-Qualification Experience (PQE)
  • Hands-on experience using the Oracle FCCS consolidation system
  • Proven background in multi-currency group consolidations for large corporate entities
  • Experience accounting for complex corporate transactions
  • Expert working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Proven experience line managing, coaching, and developing a team of finance professionals
  • Demonstrated experience working at a fast pace within a highly challenging, moving environment
  • Previous experience handling large-scale corporate transactions and divestments
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to manage trusted relationships across global stakeholders and subsidiaries
  • Proven ability to identify, design, and drive system and process improvements
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Regular travel to Manchester may be required depending on location
  • Longer working hours may be required during critical reporting cycles
