People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire .

Rates of Pay:
Days:
£20.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Day shifts
Start times between 04:00 and 08:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Driver are:
Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps
Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules
Essential Skills:
To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need:
Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence
Minimum of two years' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card xohmjla
Good spoken and written English
Desirable Experience:
Previous commercial driving experience
Training:
Driver assessment required prior to start
Industry-related training and ongoing support
