The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Hemel Hempstead area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
Shift:
Class 1 and Class 2 available
Days - Across Monday to Sunday (weekend included)
Afters - Across Monday to Sunday (weekend included)
Nights- Sunday to Friday (Sunday's and Fridays included)
Pay Rate:
Class 2:
Days - £15.67 per hour PAYE
Twilight £16.45 per hour PAYE
Nights - £18.03 per hour PAYE
Class 1:
Days/Afters - £17.40 per hour PAYE
Class 1 Twilights - £ 17.82 per hour PAYE
Nights - £19.52 per hour PAYE
Location: Hemel Hempstead, HP2
Job Type : Ongoing with the opportunity for permanent
The role:
Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 / Class 1 entitlement
Valid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
