Graduate Party Wall Surveyor London

Job description

Are you a graduate looking to build a long term career within the property and construction industry, but perhaps want something a little different from the traditional Chartered Surveyor route?

Below, you will find a complete breakdown of everything required of potential candidates, as well as how to apply Good luck.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading and highly regarded Neighbourly Matters consultancy in London, where you will receive first class training and mentoring from some of the most experienced Party Wall Surveyors in the industry.
You will have the opportunity to work on some of Londons most high profile and exciting developments, learning the technical and legal aspects of Party Wall and Neighbourly Matters from genuine specialists.
The Opportunity
From day one, you will be given the opportunity to learn from some of the best surveyors in the sector.
The company takes a highly individual approach to training and development. Rather than putting everyone through a rigid programme, your development will be adapted around your existing knowledge and experience, ensuring you receive the support needed to develop into a confident and successful Party Wall Surveyor.
There is a clear pathway for progression that is genuinely yours for the taking. There are no glass ceilings, unnecessary barriers or limits on how far you can progress within the business. For someone who is driven, determined and willing to put the work in, there is a genuine opportunity to build a highly successful long term career.
You will also receive support to gain relevant industry accreditations, including:
AssocRICS
Membership of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors
Pyramus & Thisbe accreditation
It is important to note that this is not a traditional Graduate Surveying role with APC support in the short or medium term. The focus is on developing you as a specialist Party Wall Surveyor, where becoming Chartered is not necessarily essential to building a successful and highly regarded career.
What We Are Looking For
More than anything, we are looking for the right attitude.
You should be someone who is:
Confident and able to communicate effectively
Proactive and willing to take responsibility for your own development
Keen to learn and open to receiving guidance and mentoring
Driven, determined and ambitious
Interested in the property and construction industry
Looking to develop a specialist and long-term career
Ideally, you will have completed a construction or property related degree, such as:
Building Surveying
Quantity Surveying
Real Estate
Construction Management
Or another related discipline
However, this opportunity could also suit someone with a Law degree who is interested in moving into a role that combines legal principles with property, construction and client facing work. If you enjoy legal matters but would prefer a career that takes you beyond a purely office based environment, Party Wall Surveying could be an excellent route.
You do not need previous experience in Party Wall matters. The company will provide the training, mentoring and support needed to develop. What they cannot teach is your attitude, ambition and determination to succeed.
Package
Salary: Up to £32k
Alongside the salary, you will receive extensive training, mentoring and support towards relevant professional accreditations, while building experience on some of Londons most interesting and high-profile projects.
If you are a graduate looking for a career where you can learn from genuine experts, develop a specialist skill set and have real control over how far you progress, this could be an excellent opportunity. Xohmjla
