Senior Design Manager – West London

Our client, a well-established main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering complex refurbishment, cut & carve and new-build projects across London, is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Design Manager to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Design Manager looking to work on high-profile commercial schemes involving major structural alterations, heavy refurbishment and high-specification fit out projects within challenging city-centre environments.

Reporting directly to the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion across multiple commercial projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and coordinating the full design process across multiple commercial schemes

• Reviewing structural, architectural and consultant design information

• Leading consultant coordination meetings and driving design team performance

• Identifying and resolving buildability, sequencing and technical challenges

• Managing design programmes and information release schedules

• Liaising closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams

• Ensuring compliance with current UK Building Regulations and statutory requirements
