TwentyOne Twelve is looking for a Interior Architect

Job description

Technical Designer / Interior Architect - Luxury Fashion and Retail

Location: Central London, studio-based five days a week

Salary: Up to £60,000, dependent on experience

Job Type: Permanent

Software: AutoCAD

The Snapshot

  • Project management and design consultancy in Central London, delivering luxury retail for some of the most recognisable fashion brands out there
  • A technical, detail-led role: construction packs, joinery, and getting it built properly
  • Advanced AutoCAD is essential, and you'll need to hit the ground running
  • Luxury retail or fashion-led interiors experience is non-negotiable
  • Studio-based, Monday to Friday, in Central London
  • No sponsorship available, so you'll need to already hold the right to work in the UK

The Studio

We're working with a Central London consultancy that sits right at the sharp end of luxury retail, handling both the design and the project management side for some of the biggest names in fashion. If you've ever stopped to admire the finish inside a luxury boutique, there's a good chance they had something to do with it.

It's a team that cares deeply about craft. The precision joinery, the perfect junction, the detail nobody else notices but everybody feels. This role is for someone who loves that side of the job and gets a real kick out of seeing their drawings come to life in a flagship store. You'll be in the studio five days a week, with regular trips to site to make sure what's being built matches what you drew.

Day to Day, You'll Be...

  • Producing detailed technical drawings and full construction packs for luxury retail projects
  • Working through the architectural detailing, joinery, and construction of each scheme so nothing is left to interpretation on site
  • Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and the in-house project managers to make sure every element is built exactly as intended
  • Moving between studio and site to deliver beautifully executed retail environments
  • Collaborating closely with the wider design and delivery team to keep projects on track and to the standard the brands expect

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in luxury retail or fashion-led interiors (this one is a must)
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills, and the ability to get straight into live projects
  • A strong understanding of architectural detailing, joinery, and construction
  • An eye for finish and a genuine appreciation of craft
  • Confidence communicating and collaborating in a busy studio environment
  • Availability to be in the Central London studio full-time, Monday to Friday
  • The existing right to work in the UK, as this role can't offer sponsorship

Why This One Stands Out

Not many roles let you work on global luxury brands you'll be proud to have in your portfolio while staying properly close to the craft. You'll be surrounded by people who hold themselves to high standards and care as much about the detail as you do, on projects that will stretch your technical creativity. If precision is your thing and you want your drawings to end up in some of the best-looking stores in the world, this is a cracking fit.
