Job description
Are you a 5 years+ PQE Solicitor ready to step out of a rigid corporate structure and into a role where your work directly shapes the business?
At FG Solicitors, we offer the opportunity to work in a close-knit, supportive legal environment where you can develop your skills, take ownership of meaningful work and contribute directly to the direction and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Advisory & Drafting: Draft, review, and advise on employment contracts, director service agreements, restrictive covenants, staff handbooks, and workplace policies.
- Contentious Caseload: Handle Employment Tribunal matters from start to finish (including ACAS conciliation, drafting pleadings, witness statements, and instructing counsel).
- Corporate Support: Assist corporate teams on employment aspects of M&A transactions, reorganisations, redundancies, and TUPE transfers.
- Client Relationship Management: Provide practical, commercial HR advisory support to business owners, HR managers, and corporate leadership.
- Team & Business Growth: Mentor junior solicitors and paralegals, while actively taking part in marketing and networking activities to expand the firm’s client base.
Why Join Us?

- You will have the opportunity to make a direct contribution to the firm’s business direction and growth.
- You will benefit from broader experience and greater responsibility across a varied caseload.
- You will work as part of a collaborative team with direct access to senior colleagues.
- You will enjoy a healthier work-life balance without compromising on professional ambition.

We offer a competitive salary, a friendly and professional working environment, and the chance to play a key role in a growing firm that values initiative, commitment and fresh ideas.
