Monday to Friday 10am-8pm

A kind and generous family in Chelsea are looking for an experienced and skilful family-style Cook/Housekeeper to join their team. You will work alongside one other Housekeeper and nannies and will help to maintain a beautiful, high-end property to a very high standard. On the cooking side, you will be cooking for two adults and two young children, mostly lunches and dinners. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of healthy, longevity-led cooking and will have a good, broad range of family-style meals up their sleeve.

A weekend Housekeeper is employed by the family, so there is little requirement to work weekends, though you may occasionally be asked to help out. The family travel often, so there will be periods of downtime throughout the year.

No pets. No travel.

Duties:

• Prepare healthy lunches and dinners for the family
• Menu planning
• Food shopping and stock management
• Daily cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Maintain organisation throughout the home, including tidying and decluttering
• Liaising with the other Housekeeper and household staff, reporting to the Chief of Staff, to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the household

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Housekeeper/Cook in a private household
• Strong family-style cooking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and high cleaning standards
• Happy working as part of a small household team
• Discreet, trustworthy and adaptable
• Excellent, checkable references

Days/Hours: 50 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 10am-8pm

Salary: £65,000–£70,000 gross per annum
