Job description
A hands-on leadership opportunity to take ownership of a growing field service operation, leading people, performance and processes across Cumbria and surrounding counties.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Operations Manager to take ownership of a busy, multi-site field service operation across Cumbria and surrounding counties, where you will play a key role in its continued growth and development.
Leading a remote, field-based team, you will oversee resource planning, scheduling, SLAs, customer escalations and service performance, while driving improvements in processes, productivity and commercial performance. We are looking for a strong, accountable and people-focused leader who is highly organised, process-driven and commercially minded.
You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, from farm clients and field engineers through to senior directors. A good understanding of the demands of a fast-paced farming environment, where reliability and responsiveness are essential, will also be important.
This is a great opportunity for someone from a field service, machinery or engineering background looking to take the next step in their career and make a real impact on team development, operational performance and future growth.
