Job Opportunity: Postal Delivery Driver

Location: Chepstow

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour

Hours: 37 Hours a week

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required

Shift Times: Between: 09:00am - 15:00pm

About the Role:

Pertemps is proud to support Royal Mail in recruiting Multi-Drop Postal Delivery Drivers in Chepstow.

If you have a passion for customer service and enjoy working independently outdoors, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries

Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation

Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle walking up to 8 miles per day

Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg)

Use delivery trolleys when required

Requirements:

Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points; clean licence preferred) Need to have held your license for 6 months.

Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential

Excellent time management and customer service skills

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
