Event Project Manager

WOW Recruitment is looking for a Event Project Manager

Job description

Project Manager | Creative Events Agency

How many different clients did you deliver for last year?

And how many of those events looked a lot like the one before?

Why this role

Variety, genuinely. Clients across tech, retail, hospitality and construction. Formats across conferences, awards, activations, launches, roadshows and incentive travel.

You won't be stuck on one account or running the same event on repeat.

The accounts are stable. Most clients have been with the agency for years, so the relationships are strong and the work is built on trust. Newer wins keep things moving.

Progression is mapped out, with more than one route through the agency. You pick the path that fits what you actually want to do.

The agency

A creative events agency working with brands across the UK and internationally. They do live events, campaigns and activations, film, creative content and more.

The role

You'll lead your own events end to end. Client communication, briefing internal teams, suppliers, production, logistics, delegates, budgets and margin.

On the bigger projects you'll work alongside the Account Directors and take ownership of delivery.

You'll run creative sessions, keep supplier relationships tight and support the account team on proposals and pitches.

What you need

  • Experience leading delivery of events within an event agency
  • Experience owning project budgets and hitting margin
  • Confident managing suppliers and negotiating on price and service
  • Comfortable as a supporting point of contact for a client, from brief through to reconciliation
  • Full UK driving licence and own car

Salary

£35-45,000 + bonus

Location

Central London, with hybrid working on offer (2 days per week remote)
