Equity Research Associate, Luxury Goods, Global Bank, London

Job description

We are currently working with a top global investment bank in London. They have one of the best names for sell side research of any firm, and are now looking to add a sell side equity research associate to their Luxury Goods team

The focus of the role will be to research listed luxury goods companies. The aim of the role will be to write pieces of equity research on these firms and market your investment ideas to your clients who will be asset managers and hedge funds.

Day to day this will involve:

- writing the research

- speaking with investors

- speaking with the management of companies you analyze

- building financial models and updating them

- valuations and analysis

- monitoring newsflow

The position requires excellent commercial, business and financial analytical skills; excellent written English, and the ability to communicate complicated and difficult concepts and investment recommendations to clients in a succinct way.

They are interested in meeting people who will have a background as follows:

Equity analysts from the sell or the buy side

Luxury goods or consumer experience is useful but they will consider an exceptional equity analyst from another sector as well
