Assembly Technician | Electro Mechanical Assembly | Up to £31,000 + Bonus

A well-established manufacturer in Redhill is looking for an Assembly Technician to join its workshop team.

This is a hands-on production role building mechanical and electrical assemblies to drawing and quality standard. You will work as part of the workshop to keep product moving through assembly, packing and despatch.

The role

• Assemble mechanical and electrical products from drawings and work instructions
• Carry out workshop fitting, including drilling, tapping and assembly of components
• Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Support production to meet delivery schedules
• Pack and label products ready for despatch
• Keep accurate production records
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workstation
• Work with operations, quality and engineering when needed

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a mechanical, electrical or production assembly environment
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Hands-on workshop skills and good attention to detail
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic workshop equipment
• A practical, quality-focused approach
• Experience with pipework, fittings or wiring would be useful

The package

• Up to £31,000 plus bonus
• Based in Redhill
• Permanent workshop / production role within an established manufacturer
