The Anaesthetic department at Kings is delighted to advertise this Consultant in Anaesthesia post to cover for permanent full time role.

This post is aimed primarily at Consultant level anaesthetists wishing to gain experience in a broad range of anaesthesia as well as further experience in regional anaesthesia.

We deliver anaesthesia for a range of general and subspecialty areas including Neurosurgery, Cardio-thoracics, Hepatobiliary, Endocrine, Maxillofacial, Liver Transplant, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics and Major Trauma.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery and ongoing development of high-quality anaesthetic and perioperative services within a supportive and collaborative Trust environment.

The successful candidate will provide expert anaesthetic care across a range of elective and emergency surgical specialties, including participation in theatre sessions, pre-operative assessment, and perioperative management of complex patients.

Please keep an eye on our website for further updates., As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care, while working closely with surgical colleagues, multidisciplinary teams, and wider hospital services. You will be expected to provide senior clinical leadership, contribute to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement, and service development initiatives, and support the training and supervision of junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.

The post offers opportunities to develop specialist interests in line with service needs and personal expertise, alongside active involvement in teaching, research, and innovation.
