Job description
The post-holder will undertake the full range of duties and responsibilities associated with a Salaried GP working within primary care. This will include providing face-to-face, telephone and online consultations for patients presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions; making appropriate clinical assessments, diagnoses and management plans; prescribing safely and effectively; and referring patients to secondary or community care services where appropriate. Minimal home visits The role will also involve maintaining accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and contributing to the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care. - Full GMC registration with licence to practise
- Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
- MRCGP (or equivalent), EMIS Web knowledge
- Experience of working within a Primary Care Network (PCN)
- Interest in service development and quality improvement, Inclusion on the NHS Performers List
- Previous UK General Practice experience
- Ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills, EMIS Web knowledge
- Experience of working within a Primary Care Network (PCN)
