Description

  • Manage a portfolio of private clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing strategic advice.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide expert guidance on inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and other complex tax matters.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering solutions tailored to their unique needs.
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client services and improve internal processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of any implications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless service for clients.

Profile

A successful Private Client Tax Senior Manager should have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws, particularly in personal and private client taxation.
  • Proven experience managing a client portfolio within the Professional Services industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to maintain and grow client relationships.
  • A professional qualification in accounting or tax (e.g., CTA, ACA, or ACCA).
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
