PRINCIPAL DEVOPS ENGINEER

• Permanent opportunity for a Principal DevOps Engineer with SC Clearance.
• Salary up to £105,000 DOE
• Hybrid opportunity with Manchester based offices

We're hiring for DevOps Engineers at principal level to join a top consultancy delivering cutting-edge solutions for industry-leading Public Sector and Defence clients.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple high-impact, innovative and mission-critical projects, shaping solutions that make a real difference.

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, an SC Clearance eligibility is required.

THE PRINCIPAL DEVOPS ENGINEER

• Active SC Clearance or SC Clearance eligibility
• Manchester Based or ability to travel to Manchester.
• Experience as in a Senior/ Principal DevOps/ Platform engineering role

PRINCIPAL DEVOPS ENGINEER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Strong Linux expertise (RHEL/CentOS) with experience supporting production systems
• Git for version control and collaborative development (GitHub / GitLab)
• AWS cloud infrastructure, ideally with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Kubernetes and container technologies (Docker) for modern platform environments
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)
• Strong understanding of modern platform architecture, microservices and cloud-native systems
• Good communication skills and ability to provide technical leadership.
