Through close partnerships with the NHS, schools, local authorities, professional bodies and industry, it is helping address some of society's most pressing challenges.
The Faculty is in an exceptionally strong position, with consistently high National Student Survey results and a research profile that delivers real-world impact across health, education, sport and psychology. Education was ranked among the top 10 nationally for research power in REF 2021, reflecting the quality, scale and influence of its research, while a strong culture of interdisciplinary collaboration and external partnership underpins its continued success.
As Faculty Pro-Vice-Chancellor, you will provide visible and inclusive leadership, setting a clear direction and creating an environment in which colleagues and students can thrive. You will lead a vibrant academic community across an inspiring estate that combines state-of-the-art facilities with buildings rich in heritage and character, while working closely with senior leaders across the University to implement strategy, strengthen reputation, performance and impact, and grow the Faculty's national and international profile.
