Job description
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Charlotte Simone · London (On-site) · Full time · Competitve Salary, dependent on experience
ABOUT CHARLOTTE SIMONE
Charlotte Simone is a direct-to-consumer fashion brand built around a Drop model. With just three Drops a year, the brand designs seasonless styles made to last a lifetime.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an Operations Manager to run the day-to-day operational engine of Charlotte Simone: production, fulfilment, stock, suppliers, customer service, and the moving parts that make each Drop land. You will work closely with our senior leadership in a small, founder-led team.
We are a small team, and this is a hands-on role in the fullest sense. One day you might be chasing a factory delivery or untangling a shipping issue, the next you might be in the warehouse getting a Drop out the door. We need someone who enjoys owning the detail and making things run.
This is a brilliant role for someone with solid operations experience in a D2C or ecommerce brand who wants real breadth and responsibility early, with room to grow as the business does.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations & Fulfilment
- Run logistics and order fulfilment day-to-day, keeping delivery standards high.
- Manage stock control, supplier coordination, and warehousing, including global shipping.
- Coordinate Drop launches operationally: stock readiness, dispatch, and post-launch resolution.
- Track factory timelines and flag risks to cost and schedule early.
Customer & Admin
- Run customer service and enquiries alongside the wider team, maintaining brand tone and response standards.
- Handle day-to-day operational admin and supplier invoicing, liaising with our accountants.
Process & Support
- Improve internal processes and bring structure to a fast-moving environment.
- Support digital advertising operations, including tracking and reporting on performance.
- Help onboard and coordinate interns and junior team members.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of operations experience, ideally in a D2C, ecommerce, or fashion brand.
- Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail.
- Hands-on by instinct, with no task too small, especially around a Drop.
- Comfortable with ecommerce platforms and social-first retail (we are not a traditional wholesale business).
- A clear communicator with suppliers, customers, and a small, close-knit team.
- Low ego, discreet, and happy working directly with a Founder.
LOCATION & TERMS
London, office based, full time. Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
