Sous Chef role

I am looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to join the senior kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef to develop their career within one of London's most exciting and progressive restaurant groups, working alongside a passionate, high-performing brigade.


Sous Chef key responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of a busy, high-volume kitchen
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and consistency across all sections
  • Lead, mentor and develop junior members of the kitchen brigade
  • Ensure full compliance with food hygiene, safety and allergen procedures
  • Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising food waste in line with our sustainability ethos
  • Contribute creative input to menu development, seasonal specials and root-to-stem cooking techniques
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence, maintaining service standards and team morale


What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef (or strong Junior Sous ready to step up) within a high-quality, high-volume restaurant
  • A genuine passion for seasonal, sustainable and produce-led cooking
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • A collaborative, positive attitude and a real desire to grow within the business
  • Relevant food hygiene certification
