Procurement Transformation Manager | Newly Created Role

Bramwith Consulting is looking for a Procurement Transformation Manager | Newly Created Role

Job description

Procurement Transformation Manager | Newly Created Role

London | £70,000 + Bonus & Benefits | Hybrid Working

Are you looking for an opportunity to move beyond traditional category management and play a key role in transforming how procurement operates across a major international business?

We’re supporting a leading international organisation and highly recognisable brand with the appointment of a newly created Procurement Transformation Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a procurement function undergoing significant development, with real scope to improve procurement capability, embed new ways of working and increase the strategic influence of procurement across the wider organisation.

Rather than joining a mature procurement environment, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape it.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you’ll help embed newly developed procurement strategies, improve processes and ways of working, drive greater commercial discipline and demonstrate the value that strategic procurement can deliver.

You’ll also retain hands-on exposure to strategic sourcing and category management across Technology and wider Indirect spend, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their experience into procurement transformation.

What will you be doing?

• Help drive the continued transformation and development of the procurement function.

• Partner with stakeholders across the organisation to embed new procurement strategies, processes and ways of working.

• Act as an ambassador for procurement, increasing engagement and promoting procurement best practice across the business.

• Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, governance, commercial outcomes and stakeholder experience.

• Lead strategic sourcing, tendering and commercial negotiations across Technology and wider Indirect categories.

• Develop and implement category and sourcing strategies aligned with wider business objectives.

• Manage strategically important supplier relationships and drive improved commercial performance.

• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation, value creation and continuous improvement.

• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and influence procurement decisions across the organisation.

What are we looking for?

You don’t necessarily need to come from a dedicated procurement transformation role.

This could be an excellent next step for a strong procurement professional who has been involved in improving processes, implementing new ways of working, developing procurement capability or driving change within a procurement function.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• 3-6+ years’ experience within procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.

• Experience across Technology and/or broader Indirect Procurement.

• Evidence of improving procurement processes, ways of working or stakeholder engagement.

• Strong strategic sourcing and commercial negotiation experience.

• The confidence to challenge established approaches and influence change.

• Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

• Strong commercial and analytical capability.

• A proactive mindset and genuine interest in procurement transformation and continuous improvement.

Previous experience in a formal transformation programme would be advantageous, but is not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants greater ownership and visibility, combining strategic procurement experience with the chance to help build and transform a developing procurement function within a major international organisation.
