Job description

GlobalCAD is looking for an experienced Revit BIM Technician / BIM Engineer to support a major UK rail infrastructure project in London.

This is a predominantly remote, initially part-time contract opportunity, working closely with an established fire engineering project team on detailed BIM modelling, coordination, drawing production and digital project deliverables.

✅ Experience with Navisworks and model/clash coordination

✅ Able to provide own Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and Bluebeam (or agreed equivalent) software licences

✅ Experience working within ACC and other controlled CDE/project environments

✅ Ability to develop and maintain detailed coordinated BIM models

✅ Experience producing drawings directly from Revit and preparing exported DWGs for formal submission

✅ Good understanding of BIM coordination, clash resolution and structured model/drawing issue processes

✅ Confident communicating directly with UK project teams via Microsoft Teams

✅ UK-based with full UK right to work

⭐ Desirable

• MEP/building services BIM experience

• Fire alarm, fire protection or gas suppression experience

• ProjectWise and/or BIMCollab experience

• Asset data/model information experience

• Rail or major infrastructure project experience

• Current CSCS card

· Maintaining associated asset data and reports

· Producing detailed drawings from Revit

· Exporting and preparing AutoCAD drawings to project submission standards
