Multi-Skilled FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative
Location: Dunstable Job Type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Paid Hours: 8.5 hours per day
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative to join our clients busy warehouse operation in Dunstable.
This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced FLT Counterbalance driver who is also comfortable carrying out general warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities
Operating FLT Counterbalance safely and efficiently.
Must hold an accredited RTITB or ITSSAR licence .
Minimum 2 years Counterbalance FLT experience required.
Picking and preparing orders.
Loading and unloading vehicles.
Loading and unloading containers.
Carrying out general warehouse duties.
Approximately 70% warehouse duties and 30% FLT driving .
Working safely and following all site health & safety procedures.
Completing competency training with the Health & Safety Manager on your first day.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years recent FLT Counterbalance experience.
Valid RTITB or ITSSAR accredited licence.
Previous warehouse experience is essential.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to carry out manual work.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
What We Offer
£13.25 per hour
