Class 1 Driver

The Role:

HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professionalClass 1 Driverto work with our client based in Daventry, this will consist of doing 1 trunk per night to Thurrock.

Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include:

• Completingdeliveries to businesses
• Driving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manor
• no handball, this is a nice haulage role
• Ensuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Requirements for the Class 1 driver:

• ValidHGV 1 (Category C+E) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph card
• Strapping and Reversing competence
• New pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support provided
• HGV LTD drivers welcome

Hours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver:

• Start times between 21.00pm/8-10 hours work.
• PAYEPay rate:£18.50 - £19.00 per hour
