An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Partner to join a highly regarded and specialist Employment team in Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employment lawyer to take a leading role within a high-quality team, advising a diverse client base while helping to grow the practice and develop junior talent.
The Opportunity
You’ll manage a sophisticated portfolio of Employment work while building strong relationships with clients and professional referrers.
Your workload is likely to include:
- Employment Tribunal claims
- Complex and high-value employment disputes
- Senior executive matters
- Settlement agreements
- Disciplinary and grievance matters
- Redundancy and restructuring
- TUPE
- Employment contracts and policies
- Managing your own portfolio of clients
- Supervising, mentoring and developing junior lawyers
- Building and maintaining strong client and referrer relationships
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the Manchester office
About You
- Extensive experience in Employment Law
- Strong track record advising both employers and/or senior employees
- Technically confident across contentious and non-contentious Employment matters
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
- Commercially minded with a strong business development focus
- Confident building long-term client and professional relationships
- Excellent communication skills and sound judgement
- Already operating at Partner level, or a Legal Director/Senior Associate ready for the next step
