Super opportunity to join this global company and take ownership of VAT advisory and compliance for the region.
This is a newly created role pitched at Senior Manager level (or possibly top end Manager looking for a step up), perfect for a qualified UK VAT specialist keen on using their Indirect Tax knowledge practically and to good effect.
The brief will be taking full ownership for the UK entities, while providing oversight and support for other European countries.
This will include compliance review (Excel skills are a must), ensuring accurate and timely filings, managing the relationship with the authorities, and advising the business on VAT implications of major projects.
It sounds like a great role within a sizeable global tax function where you can really make a difference - people who work here are entrepreneurial, intelligently curious and with good stakeholder management skills.
Hybrid working is three days a week in one of their office locations; so you'll need to be able to commute readily to either Manchester, London or Surrey.
UK VAT career history and qualification essential.
