A temporary opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver in Leicester. This days-based role offers a minimum of 8 hours pay and weekly payment every Wednesday.

Key responsibilities

Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
Completing deliveries to the required schedule
Loading and unloading goods using handball techniques
Working with curtainsider vehicles and securing loads appropriately
Carrying out routine vehicle and load checks
Completing delivery paperwork and reporting any issues promptly
Providing a professional and helpful service at delivery points

Skills and qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 licence
Driver CPC and current tachograph card
Previous commercial driving experience
Experience with handball work
Experience using curtainsider vehicles
Good knowledge of road safety and vehicle checks
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Physically able to load and unload goods safely

Benefits
