Job description

Driver Hire Colchester is recruiting reliable Class 1 HGV Drivers for day shifts across Colchester and the surrounding areas.

Pay rate: £17.37£21.00 per hour
Job type: Temporary, ad-hoc and ongoing work
Schedule: Day shifts, Monday to Sunday

The role:

• Completing general Class 1 deliveries
• Carrying out vehicle checks before each shift
• Completing delivery paperwork
• Following all drivers hours and working-time regulations
• Providing a professional service to customers

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points
• A reliable and professional attitude
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
• Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred

We have a mixture of ad-hoc shifts and ongoing assignments available, making this suitable for drivers looking for extra work or regular weekly bookings.
