Job Title:Class 2 Driver- handling and delivering carpets - heavy lifting required
Location:Lichfield
Pay Rates: £15.98 to £18.91 p/h Minimum 10 hours paid per day - OT paid after 8 hours per day
Shifts: Monday to Friday working (06:00 starts)
Experience:Minimum12 months experience driving commercially
Licence Type: Class 2

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Lichfield to work with our client, who is the UK's leading Logistics & Distribution organisations for a leading DIY and homeware retailer.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle
• Multi-drop Deliveries - dropping carpet off at various locations
• Vehicle checks and the usual paperwork

As this is a customer/client facing role, we are looking for people who are clean and tidy and havethe ability to deal with different types of people.

About you:
Youmusthave your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements.

As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements and you will be required to complete a Drug & Alcohol test and also a driving assessment.

Youmustbe a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs or relocation) and have the relevant Right To Work documentation.
