Driver / Removals Operative Location: G32, Glasgow Pay: £17.00 per hour PAYE / £20.00 per hour Umbrella Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am 4:00pm Contract: Temporary initially We are currently recruiting Driver / Removals Operatives to work with a well-established removals company based in the G32 area of Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers who are looking for regular Monday-to-Friday work and are comfortable with the physical demands of removals.

The Role You will be involved in home and business removals of varying sizes .

This is not a multi-drop driving role .

You will always work as part of a team of 2 or more people , assisting with the safe loading, transportation and unloading of furniture, equipment and other items.

Your responsibilities will include: Driving the company vehicle to and from removal locations Loading and unloading furniture and belongings safely Carrying and moving heavy items Assisting with household and business relocations Working effectively as part of a team Ensuring items are handled carefully and securely Following instructions from the team leader and customers About You You must be comfortable with the physical demands of removals , as the role involves a significant amount of lifting, carrying and moving furniture and other heavy items.

We are looking for people who are: Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting Reliable and punctual Comfortable working as part of a team Customer-focused and professional Flexible when jobs run beyond the expected finish time Experienced in driving and ideally have previous removals experience Important Information Although the usual working hours are 7:30am 4:00pm, finish times cannot always be guaranteed .

Some removal jobs can run later than 4:00pm, particularly when delays occur with property moves, such as waiting for keys.

You will therefore be expected to remain with the team until the job is completed.

This is a physically demanding role and is not suitable for anyone who is unable to undertake regular heavy lifting and manual handling. Xohmjla
