Senior User Researcher

London, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol

£55,000-£65,000

We’re hiring a Senior User Researcher to join a UK-wide digital consultancy delivering meaningful, user-centred services at scale.

You’ll work with clients who value evidence, inclusivity and impact, embedding research at the heart of Agile delivery.

What you’ll be doing as a Senior User Researcher

Lead and design qualitative and quantitative user research across complex digital services
Plan and run discovery, generative and evaluative research
Embed user-centred and inclusive research practices
Translate research insight into clear, actionable recommendations for design and delivery
Advocate for accessibility, assisted digital and inclusive design approaches
Work closely with designers, product managers and engineers to shape service direction
Build strong client relationships
Manage, mentor and support other user researchers
Contribute to research standards, capability building and thought leadership

What you’ll bring to the table

Proven experience as a Senior User Researcher within digital or service design environments
Strong grounding in a wide range of user research methods and when to apply them
Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive research practices
•Confidence influencing senior stakeholders using research evidence
Line management or mentoring/coaching experience
A consultancy mindset — collaborative, adaptable and outcome-focused
