Thanks to our continued growth and success, we’re now looking for an experienced crisis management consultant to be part of our established and respected consultancy, completing important, meaningful work for high profile clients around the world.


Formed in 2008, Insignia is an award-winning crisis management consultancy working with businesses to help them protect their reputation when crisis strikes. Our clients include Lundin, the AA, Royal London, Viridor, NFU Mutual and Virgin Atlantic. Through planning, training and exercising, we give our clients the capability and confidence to do and say the right thing on the worst day of their corporate lives.


Our services include the development of crisis management plans, training crisis team members, delivering scenario-based crisis exercises and advising clients as they deal with incidents, issues and crises.


We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic team member to play a key part in our next phase of growth.


Your role


The successful candidate will work with our experienced team to develop and deliver our high-quality crisis management and communication services to our clients.


You will be working with our existing clients, maintaining and deepening these relationships through solid project planning and management and exceptional client care and attention. Stimulating, challenging and rewarding, your work will include:


  • Crisis management and communication training and exercising; drafting presentations, storylines and facilitation material for simulations, desktop exercises and training workshops. You will also be part of delivery teams, facilitating and observing delegate performance and managing exercise control rooms.
  • Crisis planning: auditing existing client plans, developing new crisis management and crisis communication plans and processes and developing communication materials where required to support with live crisis and issues handling.
  • Business development; supporting with the creation of proposal documents and meeting with prospective clients.
  • Marketing: media relations, social media and event attendance to raise Insignia’s profile


Our expectations


We would like you to demonstrate your experience (5 yrs plus) within crisis management and/or resilience, ideally as part of a consultancy, agency or professional services environment.


With this experience, you will have gained skills essential for the delivery of this role including exceptional presentation, training and facilitation skills, an aptitude for project management and superb verbal and written skills. You should be educated to degree level and hold a full UK driving licence. In addition to the opportunity to deliver our services in the UK and internationally you should be comfortable working independently (at your virtual base) for extended periods.


An interest or experience in utilising AI in the workplace is also desirable.
