Role Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor at around 4 PQE to join a highly regarded specialist Family Law team.

You will manage your own caseload of privately funded matters, advising clients through often complex and sensitive family circumstances. The role offers exposure to a broad range of family work, excellent client contact and the opportunity to develop your career within a firm where Family Law is the core focus.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a varied caseload of privately funded Family Law matters.
  • Advise clients on divorce, separation and financial matters.
  • Handle private children matters, including child arrangements and parental responsibility.
  • Advise on cohabitation disputes and agreements.
  • Draft and advise on pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements.
  • Support clients experiencing domestic abuse and advise on appropriate protective measures.
  • Assist with mediation, collaborative law and other constructive forms of dispute resolution.
  • Work on complex and high-value matters where appropriate, including international family and high-net-worth divorce cases.
  • Build trusted client relationships through clear, compassionate and commercially sensible advice.
  • Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the team.


Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 4 years PQE in Family Law.
  • Strong experience handling privately funded family matters.
  • Good technical knowledge across divorce, finances and/or private children work.
  • Excellent communication, drafting and client care skills.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage your own caseload effectively.
  • A pragmatic and empathetic approach to client relationships.
  • Commercially aware and keen to develop your career within a specialist Family Law practice.
  • Resolution membership or experience working within a resolution-focused environment would be advantageous.
