Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner / Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in hospitality and janitorial services, ensuring that our facilities are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for our guests and staff alike.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces as required.
• Replace linens and towels in guest rooms and ensure all amenities are replenished.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning products and equipment.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed, including seasonal or special event preparations.

Qualifications

• Full driving license and own vehicle are essential for this role as travel upto 20 miles (compensated) may be required.
• Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with similar practices and cleaning techniques is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritising tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service.
