A builders merchant in Birmingham is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver with HIAB skills for temporary daytime work. This role offers reliable hours and the opportunity to support deliveries across the local area.

Key responsibilities

Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle fitted with HIAB
Complete deliveries of building materials to customer and site locations
Load, secure and unload goods in line with safety procedures
Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks
Complete delivery paperwork accurately
Provide professional customer service at delivery points
Follow road safety, site safety and company procedures

Skills and qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
Current Driver CPC qualification
HIAB certificate and practical experience
Experience delivering building materials or similar goods is desirable xohmjla
Good knowledge of safe load handling and vehicle checks
Reliable, punctual and professional approach
Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules

Benefits

£17.50£18.00 per hour
Paid every Wednesday
Minimum of 8 hours paid
