Salary: Up to £60,000
Location: Hybrid - 3 days p/w on site
Type: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Master Data Steward to take ownership of procurement and supplier data across a large, complex organisation.

This is not just a reporting or data analyst role. You will be responsible for improving the quality, consistency and governance of procurement data, working closely with Procurement, Finance, Operations and IT.

You will report directly into the Director of Procurement and will need to be confident challenging existing processes, influencing senior stakeholders and driving adoption of better data standards across the business.

Key responsibilities:

Own supplier, vendor, material and procurement master data standards.
Identify and resolve data quality issues across ERP and procurement systems.
Improve data governance, controls, ownership and accountability.
Work with stakeholders to address poor data practices and embed new processes.
Support procurement reporting, spend analysis and data-led decision making.
Improve master data processes, reduce manual cleansing and support automation.
Work across Procurement, Finance, Operations and IT to drive consistent data standards.
Experience required:
Strong Master Data, Data Stewardship or Data Governance experience within a large organisation.
Experience working with procurement, supplier, vendor, material or purchasing data.
Strong understanding of data quality, master data controls and ERP environments such as SAP.
Confident stakeholder management skills, including influencing and challenging senior stakeholders.
Experience driving process or behavioural change where there has been resistance.
Strong Excel and reporting skills; Power BI, SQL or automation experience would be beneficial. Xohmjla
