HGV Class 2 Driver

Looking for consistent work, excellent pay, and the chance to drive for some of the region's leading logistics and distribution companies? Blue Arrow is recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers for a variety of ongoing assignments across the North East.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday Days: £14.50 per hour
Monday to Friday Nights: £15.50 per hour
Saturday: £15.50 per hour
Sunday: £17.00 per hour
Overtime (40+ hours): Up to £20.50 per hour

The Role

Enjoy a variety of work including general haulage, palletised goods, retail distribution, trunking, and multi-drop deliveries. With assignments across multiple sectors, no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Complete deliveries and collections safely and efficiently
Carry out multi-drop or trunking work depending on assignment
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
Complete delivery paperwork and use handheld devices where required
Deliver excellent customer service
Follow all driving regulations and health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Good knowledge of driver regulations
Previous Class 2 experience preferred, but newly qualified drivers will be considered
Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
