Trainee Field Technician Furniture Templating & Measuring (Full Training & Company Van)
£30,420 per year based on a standard 39-hour week
Locations covered: Southampton, Portsmouth & Winchester

We are looking to train motivated individuals to become a Trainee Furniture Templater (also known as a Fabric Pattern Maker), visiting customers in their own homes to take accurate measurements and create templates. Your templates are then passed to our expert team of loose cover makers, who turn them into beautiful, made-to-measure furniture covers. No previous templating, pattern making or upholstery experience is required, but would be preferred and give you a distinct advantage over other applicants - Full training is provided from day one.

What We Are Looking For:

• A full, clean UK driving licence
• Previous Upholstery, Fabric cutting, Templating, curtains or soft furnishings experience preferred
• Willingness to drive up to 3 hours between customer appointments within your area
• Good practical, hands-on ability and strong attention to detail
• Good customer service skills, as the role involves working in customers' homes
• Any background in upholstery, loose cover making, curtain making, soft furnishings or tailoring is an advantage, but is not essential - full training is given

Hours and Pay:
Full-time, permanent position. 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. £15.00 per hour, which works out at approximately £30,420 per year based on a standard 39-hour week.
