Essential Skills Tutor

Salary: £25,700 - £27,300/ DOE
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 4:30pm

The Role:

• Deliver Essential Skills Wales training in Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy.
• Provide engaging workshops, classroom-based and one-to-one learning.
• Maintain accurate learner records, assessment documentation and evidence.
• Engage with learners and employers to promote achievement and progression.
• Assess learners within their workplace environments across a regional area.
• Work towards performance, achievement and quality targets.

What We're Looking For

• Experience delivering Essential Skills Wales qualifications.
• Experience within Work-Based Learning, Apprenticeships or vocational education.
• Knowledge of awarding body requirements, assessment and quality assurance.
• Recognised teaching, training or assessing qualification such as A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent desirable.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check and EWC registration.
